I also voted no...though it really depends on the intent.
In general, I don't like the idea of moderating ignorance. I think it's a fine line that really shouldn't be crossed, and creates punishment for what might simply be lack of knowledge on a certain topic. I'd much rather allow the community to correct faulty claims than moderate users for those claims.
However...if someone refuses to accept facts after being presented with them, and continues to make the same incorrect statement on a consistent basis despite being corrected in the past, then I'd find that deserving of moderation for either baiting through spreading known false information, or just spamming.
I suppose it's not a question with one simple answer though.
