Literally the exact same argument could be said of the posts which got Rol banned.

Did you read his arguments and reasoning, or did you focus on his argument of Aeolus having no common sense?

How is telling someone has no common sense, and telling someone loves person x comparable in any way?

Based on what GNM wrote here about Rol, he puts him on a pedestal above himself. It goes without saying that if you consider what Rol said as truth, then Rol's intelligence is above his.

That was a joke though. But I won't be surprised if you don't see it that way.

It's okay though, I wont moderate you for your attacks on GNM's character. I guess this is that famous mod protection I keep hearing about.

I'm not asking anything from you. If you think this deserves a moderation, go for it. If telling someone "you love this guy/game/developer/whatever" is bannable, then consider me surprised. If that's mocking, well that wasn't intended as such. If saying that a lot of people loves Rol (or should I have used the word "like"?) is insulting, he should have just come forward and say "I don't love him, you are wrong about that", and be done with it. I'd retract what I said. But he didn't, did he?

The way GNM goes about it though, his wording and way of arguing Rol's case, points to him liking him a whole lot. Putting him on a pedestal. And many of his arguments center around the fact that Rol is a greatly liked character on VGC and that it should in turn allow him special treatment.

Even though it's easy to misconstrued things as mocking or inflammatory online due to the nature of text, this is the most obvious case of backpedalling i've ever seen. Seriously, the way you type, the way you form your comments, the use of emojis, all of it was intended to mock someone for liking a user.

Liking a user also doesn't make any argument for why that user shouldn't be moderated invalid. 

I do admit though that I wish Rol wouldn't get moderated, he is an A+ user. 

What are you even reading? The only smilley I used was pointed at his comment about me playing a game. 

And I agree that liking a user is a very poor argument to use. But that's one GNM used. Rol shouldn't be banned because he's liked and brings traffic.

I'm reading the same thing that a mod is apparently reading. 

You literally started your entire reply by laughing at the idea that you were playing games, and then went on by saying you don't play games. Yet you want to just disregard it as a joke? No, you were mocking your GNM and using the fact that he likes a user against him. You also doubled down on your false equivalency just a few replies ago by saying that "GNM could have just said he didn't love Rol, but he didn't did he?" So you're taking this poor argument that mocks someone and doubling down on it. 

I don't think Rol should get special treatement. I don't think what Rol said was too bad but the moderation is consistent with the rules of this forum. I just said that it's sad to see him banned, him and Vivister are the best posters here.
