What are some Europe made games?

The Witcher, Hitman, many of Ubisoft's games... we lack quantity but we have great quality !

Imho it has to go to Japan but imho it will soon change to Europe

I voted Europe but it's stupid to compare regions. In my mind Japan is the number 1 country but they can't really compete with the whole european continent (notably germany, uk, sweden, france and poland) or the us+canada.

1. Japan
2. Canada
3. USA
4. UK
5. Sweden
6. France
7. Germany
8. Poland
9. Korea
10. Australia/Netherlands/Spain

Quality is subjective of course, but they probably do compete with the whole of Europe on pure quantity.

And out of interest what games are coming out of Germany, France & Spain that get them in to your list? I can only think of Remember Me from France and nothing from the other too.

Not an exhaustive list but yea I can give you a few games/series from each of those country out of my head.

France:

Beyond Good and Evil

Rayman

Wakfu

Dofus

Dishonored

Steep

Top Spin

Rabbids

Just Dance…. Yea just dance better to stop the list here. I ran out of idea.

Germany:

Anno

Gothic

Nano Assault

Fast Racing Neo

Ryse Son of Rome

Sacred

Crysis

Lords of the Fallen

Spain:

Castlevania: Lord of Shadow

Praetorians

Commandos

Imperial Glory

Invizimals

Owlboy is also european, made by Norwegians.

Went with the USA. I'm a big fan of Bethedsa games and first person shooters in general which have a strong connection with the USA. I'm not sure who I would have picked second though. If it was just for 2016 it would definitely be Europe, if it was over all the games I'd played ever definitely Japan.

What region makes the best AAA titles for consoles/gaming pc (not handhelds) this generation?  State your choice and why. My choice is North America. Halo, Gears, BF, Titan Fall, Madden, COD, OverWatch, Uncharted,ect...

if by BF you mean battlefield, it's made by DICE, which is a Swedish developer.

just in case no one corrected you on this one yet

GTA. Witcher, That's a pretty good argument for Europe.

There's only 2 races: White and 'Political Agenda'
2 Genders: Male and 'Political Agenda'
2 Hairstyles for female characters: Long and 'Political Agenda'
2 Sexualities: Straight and 'Political Agenda'

I would struggle to pick between US and Japan.

Europe doesn't seem to produce enough as it should given its size, unless I'm forgetting a lot of devs

Pretty much all ubisoft games (farcry, assassin's creed, for honor and so on). CD projekt red (The witcher games,) guerrilla games, media molecule, Quantic dream, Rockstar north, ninja theory, rock steady studios, sumo digital, team17, remedy entertainment, rare, evolution studios. There is still a lot more. Europe has a huge role in the video game industry
