Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Tetsuya Takahashi's wife has retweeted news of the Switch event

Wyrdness said:

Yet a a fair number of her retweets of events have been Monolith Soft related so I don't get your moaning here, the op is within their right to post it given the record when she retweets events.

The best way to explain this is:

There is a difference between "is equal to" and "includes but is not limited to".

That's it.

Yet both of you have no concrete excuse about complaining about him posting news other than to moan, you're arguing this doesn't equal that yet admit the could be something on the horizon in other words admitting the news is still worth reporting anyway.

Nope, this "news" is not worth reporting (and not worth the name "news"). The Xenoblade rumors have been reported and were worth reporting. This is not, and barely deserves to be quoted in a user post on another thread. Really not worth an article, videos and new threads. There is a difference between people saying "I have a source telling me the game is coming", and a Nintendo employee saying "Look, there a Switch event next week" just like last time (and no mention of anything related to the game). Where was the same thread when she tweeted about the Switch's reveal in October?

There is a meta-thread for Switch rumors anyway, so it definititely doesn't deserve its own thread.

No, but it makes sense for it to be a hint this time around since we've had all sorts of rumors about XBX appearing on the Switch.

Just like ppl assumed her tweet for the Switch reveal was a hint too?

And her tweets are not 100% about Monolith news: she promotes Nintendo related software in general.

There are countless other threads related to the Switch reveal and rumours: that is what those threads are for, posts like this. So use them.

There weren't any rumors about XCX on the NX/Switch before the October reveal.

According to whom exactly because other outlets are reporting it which shoots down your stance, you can't even get the context of the news right in your attempts to argue against it as the article even explains why her retweeting events causes interest so yes it is news worthy.

Who are you to tell the OP where to post his news, are you going into those other threads to tell people to keep it in one thread? No you're not so put up or move on, her tweets have had a record of indicating an announcement which is why the OP reported it so he's in his right to report it regardless of your moaning.

She's done it way more than twice. It always signals her husband's work will be present in some form or fashion. I doubt it's a new game, given that they just finished work on X a year and a half ago. He takes four or five years to make a new game. It's probably the heavily-rumored Switch upgraded port of X. Which would be cool.

The Screamapillar is easily identified by its constant screaming—it even screams in its sleep. The Screamapillar is the favorite food of everything, is sexually attracted to fire, and needs constant reassurance or it will die.

I'm hoping her tweet is meant as new game reveal and not a port. Either could happen though.

If you guys have a problem take it to the mods.

this seriously needed a topic?

Is this new in VGC? Nope. Next time we will have a thread when a random Nintendo employees distant relatives cousins friends teacher makes a tweet.

Yep, they would obviously have access to the same info.

Didn't see anyone complaining in this recent thread:

And that thread had less substance than this one.

Tell that to Sh2nn
