Not surprised. The Wii U is dead, MS is no where, 3DS is getting old, the Vita is going down, the PS4 alone can't save it.

It's time to make the switch.

It's probably because the Wii u is dead and the ps4 and Vita are just doing OK. A much better ps4 line up and the switch will probably cause 2017 to beat 2016

Makes sense. 3DS owns that country. No need to keep buying hardware. Just games for the past years and another 3DS refresh at some point. Then play Pokémon Go when not playing 3DS. Nintendo has them wrapped around their finger.

I'm more surprised in the decline of software sales rather than hardware, wonder if the Switch can reverse or stabilize the decline.
