Wether Switch is successful or not, there will be always hate towards Nintendo.the Doom will never end.
My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Ugh. Sometimes gamers are the worst.
"People don't like my preferred video game brand because they're biased!"
Enough. It's arrogant, and whiny, and far too prevalent on gaming forums.
Will 100% of hate against Nintendo vanish after the reveal event? Of course not. But if they address enough people's concerns about the Switch the direction of the company in general then we will absolutely see a positive shift in the way people look at Nintendo.
Bet with Adamblaziken:
I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.
What is with this fascination that power is equal to how old the hardware is? The hardware is not old, (even though it's likely being based on a somewhat older chipset (2-3 years) the chipset is being tailored/customized for the system.
I don't think minds will be changed no matter what happens at the event. Minds will only be changed by repeated actions at this point, there really isn't anything they can say.
Whether Nintendo is hated/liked by some people on a message board makes no difference. The market decides what they like and what they don't like, and that's basically all it boils down to.
No, and that isn't exclusive to Nintendo either

I doubt the reveal will sway anyone in one way or the other. We already know enough. People who are still skeptical might be swayed by the additional hype but that's it.
We know what the Switch is so either you like or don't like the concept.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
Haha. You're funny, mate.
