I dont see it having a big YOY increase, it had alot going for it this year, Slim model, Pro model, PS VR, $50 cheaper than last year, and a ton of big games (Call of Duty, Final Fantasy, The Division, Watch Dogs, Overwatch, Doom, Titanfall, Dishonored, Uncharted, No Man's Sky, Dark Souls, Far Cry, Mafia, Deus Ex, Street Fighter, FIFA, Madden, NBA 2K).

Despite all of that it had less than a 1% YOY increase. But then again, Knack 2 is coming next year.

People are going to be salty at the end of this year when ps4 will be up yoy,one look at the amount of games coming out from jan to april and you should understand how massive it's going to be.

Horizon could be big too.

Idk man, thats the exact same thing people were saying last year, big games and price cuts were going to put 2016 up YOY by a pretty sizeable amount, yet it was up by less than 1%.

I wouldnt be surprised if 2017 ends up having a YOY increase but i dont think its going to be by a very large amount.

Yeah and then a fuck ton of games were delayed, the PS4 got an underwhelming price cut to just $299 ($250 on black friday and december) and the Pro launched which is more expensive and the games released ended up not being that popular yet the PS4 still went up. By the way, it has a lot of momentum currently, because its up 500k in the holiday period which literally just ended so PS4 has a lot of momentum right now and it will continue

2017 if the price  and games are  right could end at 18,5/19.5mill

The base PS4 price is 299 not 250. I dont see it reaching 199 any time soon. Look how long it took the 360 and the PS3 to get there.

I dont see it going much higher than 18mi in the bastante case senario.

PS: I'd live to see some one reviving old threads with people predicting 20-25mi sales every year.

wrong predictions do exist yes, i've made plenty of very, very wrong predictions, and you've been on the site for 7 years now so i bet you've made some very wrong predictions as well

Well, but back then I was bashed as a fanboy for beliving 15mi for the PS4 and 10mi for the XOne would be resenable predictions.

In the end it is kind of a curse having such a good memory of those epic battles. I just cant let it go. Unfortunetly my big nemesys is no longer with us.
