Forums - Politics Discussion - Drain The Swamp, Today; It begins...Salute Donald J Trump

He just hired another Goldman Sachs adviser to a run the Securities & Exchange position, lol, a guy who believes in more deregulation of markets (which is exactly what led to the 2008 collapse).

Sessions might be the worst pick so far.  He has the most backlash and might actually not get nominated.  Let's hope he doesn't.  Actually the EPA pick is pretty damn bad too.

What you seem to forget is that these policies trying to corrupt the system get produced by the hundreds. Obama never had a news article written about every one of them that he stopped, yet you act like this is such a big deal.

This could easily be a distraction. Make a big show of this policy while another one is quietly passed without anyone knowing.

That kind of spin belongs on the Young Turks. Sequential stick-manery. Not worth responding to directly.

He stood up to establishment. Get over it.

Ford small car sales are down.  That is why they found it better to expand a factory in USA and one in Mexico instead of building a new plant in Mexico for their lagging small car fleet.

Congrats on the 700 jobs must go to Trump though.

That's a supposition, and unsubstatiated regarding the sales being down and the degree to which it would affect any plant expansion plans. Not a solid argument at all.

There's no issue there until wrong doing is shown or conflict of interests exposed for example if Trump had done some speeches for an unusually large amount of money at said company.

Sessions will go through, he's been unquestionably loyal to Trump and not wavered in his support. I can see Trump putting his foot down on that. Pruit....that's a different story, Dems are mounting some BS paper tiger to try and garner support on stopping that one regardless of if he's passed.

Ad hominem, we're talking about Trump and the widespread false accusations based on nothing that he would just role over and be a republican establishment puppet. Widely reported and used as building block for countless hit piece against him. Well it turns out it's not true so far.

I see no concession on this matter from dems, or left leaning people.

What a shame that we can't collectively give a fair appraisal as to the current state of play.

And regarding the OP... Kneel before Trump... like in front of a dictator? In what democracy do you kneel before its political leaders?

Hit us with some stats, hit us with some garbage...

Bet never the two shall meet. Pinning you down to an actual back and forth discussion is like trying to pitch a tent in a river.

No kneeling was mentioned in OP. Suggest it may be freudian slip...

Actually you are the one who didn't touch the comment on ethics issue that Trump isn't actually against the GOP move in general, he just feels its bad timing to do it now. You were too busy throwing the parade first before looking into the specifics of what actually happened there.

If you have not figured it out now, that question will never get answered.  I believe we have all realize about now that if a subject does not meet a viewpoint it will be totally dismissed.
