X1S is more expensive, what did you expect. Consoles are for gaming, not watching movies.

Although PS4 has a good excluisve line up in 2017, software being up will also depend on the 3rd party line up. Retail game sales will also have to contend increasing digital sales.

Maybe in some games selling lot but in 2016 there where a lot lot loooot more games. And ya know. Uncharted 4 |
I think I misinterpreted your comments. I thought you were referring to 3rd party multiplats and going through your responses, you are talking about 3rd party games whether they are multiplat or exclusive.
I meant to say that multiplat 3rd party game sales are likely down in 2016 from 2015 due to various factors like larger quantities of AAA multiplats in 2015 and COD: IW selling way less than BO3. The 1st and 3rd party exclusive software played a major hand at preventing PS4 physical software from dropping.
Its physical sales in one region. I'd like to see global numbers that include digital sales. I think that would be the real telling of how the market is doing.

Right!
Phones are also used for Internet, gaming and selfies, not texting and calling.

You are comparing a phone to a console. Get some new material, yawn.
I think 2017 will be PS4's peak year, enhanced by PS4 Pro and what is probably their strongest lineup ever for the system. 3DS being up is no surprise, with Pokemon Sun/Moon being what it is, and Pokemon being more popular than it has been in a decade thanks to Pokemon Go.
3ds had a very good year, it's most likely up YoY in japan and NoA too.
Congrats ps4 and 3DS. Especially ps4.
Considering some major hitters underperformed this year 2017 has a good chance for ps4 to rise again.
