It'll be funny if MS interprets Sony's success only because PS4 was perceived as stronger, this thing needs some exclusives to go along.

Yes,many think that's  why the ps4 is selling  soo well because  its a tiny bit more powerfull.

Exclusive  games don't  sell remember  :)

And the way Microsoft  is trying  to advertise  the scorpio  is that indeed, they think  they will crush the ps4 because  scorpio  has the " super real ultra pixel true 4k" power.

But noo real exclusives  everything  will be playable  on the pc and run better.

Nah, we all know that the PS4 Pro is selling a lot better than the Slim because it's more powerful. So if they put an even more powerful console, it will sell even better. And the Switch is a lot less powerful than the XOne, so the Switch is doomed.

Who cares about games and price?

Meh tbh it's cool for xbox Fans
But let's look at it this way.
E3 all they are going to show is Scorpio everyone knows Scorpio is coming so i think Xbox og and s aren't going to sell well compared to Ps4 and Switch this year, and when the Scorpio comes then what.

Just prettier picture  and 60fps cool although 60fps will become the norm for both consoles 60 or 30 with enhanced graphics.
And at the end of the day i can play all those games on a PC sure Microsoft's real agenda is to get as much as win 10 Users from win 7.

But the hardest thing Microsoft is doing they are competing with Necessity(PC) over premium which is Xbox og,s and Scorpio.

Honestly? Im fine with what the PS4 does, and dont feel like I need more.
I dont even own a 4k tv.

I hope its not pointlessly expensive... eg. 499$+ , for those Xbox guys that want more power.
If it is I doubt it ll sell much, and the more it sells the more likely it is to get patch's to games that ll make use of it.

Im much much more intrested in the Switch... dispite it being so low powered... why? the games!

Xbox One just doesnt have anything that really appeals to me.

2017 isnt the year of the Scorpio, its the year of the Switch.

It depends? Besides the added floppage, what's the incentive for me to get one if I never found the Xbox brand and franchises attached to it attractive before? With consoles losing more and more platform exclusives, they're becoming a tough sell to bitter old nerds like myself.

"Losing more and more platform exclusives" =/= "Have no more exclusives at all".

I already own a PS4, I have little interest in franchises like Forza and Halo, Nintendo exclusives are the same they always were, if these games couldn't convince me to buy a Gamecube, Wii or Wii U, they're unlikely to convince me to buy a Switch.
If you have a great PC, there's not a whole lot of sense in buying a 400$(?) Xbox on top of that, most big releases are shared between them anyway.

Day One. Best console incoming

Nah, I've already decided that I'm not going to jump on these upgraded consoles. I fully expect the PS5 to be out in 2019 and that won't be limited like the Pro/Scorpio due to needing to also support the PS4/One S.

My PS4 and Xbox One S both work great, call me when the next generation starts.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.
