"So, I know for months I have been saying BOTW is not going to be out in March, heard from two NOE sources. Seems to clash with marketing."

"To those asking, I can't explain why there's a disparity between marketing and what I heard on release window."

"Recently reached out to a NOA source who I have not used before saying launch. Not sure why the disparity."


"Basically, going to be transparent about it. Unsure what's up, messaging on BOTW is weird."

And Stealth from GAF who has sources also confirmed he heard BOTW will be a launch title for Nintendo Switch.

"Recent things have come to light and I am pretty confident that Zelda is going to be a launch game on Switch. At least that is the goal."

 

With all this and the marketing Nintendo is doing for BOTW, it really makes me believe and hope that BOTW will indeed be a launch title.

Well, if it launches day 1, that will indeed be awesome. At this point in time, I somewhat accepted that it was going to be delayed, so this being false would be great.

Well, at least she is honest about not knowing which is true.Not many do that.

Well done.

Alternatively, the situation is complicated. This gels with what we have heard in the past: that it was unlikely to hit launch due to localization and quality assurance. Unlikely, but not impossible. It is entirely possible that Nintendo is devoting more man power and hours to get these things done more quickly and get it out by launch. Given what Skryim and other open world games can get away with, it wouldn't really be unprecedented for Nintendo to go ahead and release the game without all of their usual quality assurance in order to get the game out by launch. After all, it can always be patched. Not usually Nintendo's philosophy, but it might be worth it in this case.

Sources from NOA says it is a launch-title, sources from NOE says it is not. Both could be right and that will severely piss me off

So we can disregard any rumour on Zelda's release then as they clearly have no idea just wait 11 days.
