Forums - Microsoft Discussion - I'm finally playing Gears 4, lets talk about it.

yeah the lack of offline horde is imo fucking retarded... one thing i will say is that this game is amazingly well optimised... i'm running it on a gaming laptop with a 960m and i get around 50 fps on high settings

I want to add that not earning ribbons or leveling up offline is also dumb.

Proud to be a Californian.

I don't have an issue with the amount of content though the lack of an offline horde mode is a bummer.

Overall I think it's great, though I still think Battlefield 1 is my favorite shooter of the year.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Is offline horde really a thing? Are you guys just tearing through wave after wave by yourselves? Even a 2 man crew would have trouble.

Yes.

Yes.

But why? It's designed to have different classes with their strengths and jobs to do. It's just frustrating with only two players imo.

Because sometimes it's nice to play a few games while I'm hanging out with my brother or friends. Not a huge deal, but it would have been nice to have the option.

Wait did you really expect this game to have 4 player offline horde? Has that ever happened?

I just realized that I'm being dumb. Gears does have 2 player split screen Horde, which is what I was talking about.

Sorry for the mix-up.
