Tagged games:

The countless JRPG I bought from the PSN stores that have not aged well or I just realize how mundane they are.

Examples are:

Suikoden I
FF IX
Xenogears

I bought Ninokuni for the DS when it came out at full price because of the nice book that came with it. Never got around to play it and now used copies in complete and great condition go for less than $10.
That's only one example of many.

i thought Ni No Kuni was a PS3 game. Weird.

I typically like Level-5's content, and Ni No Kuni wasn't different. Pretty sure the DS version is a washed out version(similar to how Spores on the DS is garbage compared to Spores PC)

The DS version was first. The PS3 version came about a year later.

It actually looks quite gorgeous for a DS game.

Huge piles of shit. Awful awful awful games.

Blazblue is far from awful.  Just gotta be careful on which to buy, as they do release too many of them.

Myth III was utter crap and an insult to the Myth series.
Silver looked very good, but with the GPU I had when I bought it it was so buggy it crashed after a few minutes of play, I had to stop playing it, I should find the most recent patches and try it again now, if it's compatible with Win 7.
Last time I tried to play The Fifth Element, I found it utter crap, but I don't remember why.
Last time I tried Hitman I hated its controls so much I stopped playing it.
GT-R has a crappy DRM not compatible with Win 7, if Steam or others online shops will let me redeem its physical support code for an updated and compatible digital version without having to pay it a second time I'll try it again.
Shogo wasn't compatible with my HW last time I tried it, I should try it again now.
When I bought Rainbow Six Vegas my HW was below its min specs, I should try it now.
Hexen II wasn't really bad, but far below Hexen I and Heretic II.
So hopefully for some of them my money could be not definitively wasted.

Stwike him, Centuwion. Stwike him vewy wuffly! (Pontius Pilate, "Life of Brian")
A fart without stink is like a sky without stars.
TGS, Third Grade Shooter: brand new genre invented by Kevin Butler exclusively for Natal WiiToo Kinect. PEW! PEW-PEW-PEW!

I bought the entire Tomb Raider collection on Steam once. I've played a bit of Anniversary but didn't finish it, then I tried the TR reboot, which I played and got bored of in an hour. I never even touched the other games from that bundle. Now there's 10 games in my library that I'll never play =P

There's also other games like Sonic CD, Sonic 4, Guacamelee, Surgeon Simulator, etc, which I barely played and I'm not really interested in giving a second try.

TL;DR: Don't buy games on sale unless you're 100% that you'll like and play them, otherwise you're just wasting money.

I usually try to be different and try smaller games like Dead Rising 2 but then play 10 mins and realize there is a reason why these games dont get so popular

Smaller games?  Try to be different?  Not popular?  DEAD RISING???  What's next, you going to try "that indie game Resident Evil"?  Congrats on spending ten minutes on a game that prides itself on free form exploration though.  That sure got you the whole experience.  That whole whopping five minute opening cutscene and tutorial sure was enough to tell you if the game was worth it.

All three Fable games on the 360. I only played Fable Anniversary for fifteen minutes, got bored and didn't bother playing it again. Needless to say the other two just sat there collecting dust till I sold them back to Gamespot.

I've bought many games I intend to play, but have yet to play them. I will get to them eventually though. I don't really feel like I wasted my money on anything.
