People needing safe spaces is an ever growing issue. It will conflict with some freedoms we have in the current law system eventually. Freedom of speach is the most obvious of them. Safe spaces excuses and creates weak people who can't stand up for themselves. Something which i very useful in todays society. If you can't stand up for yourself others will take advantage.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

This whole "safe space" thing is still going on? Outside of social media and people making fun of people who need a safe space, I've never seen or heard the term, once. Now, it's semi synonymous with wussy people.

I see all the Twitter PC babies are crying just because Richard Hammond made a joke not eating ice cream because he's straight.

Why are people such cry baby pussies now?

When we talk about safe space, we mean safe space from harassment, not from criticism.

But aren't you using a safe space to talk about the absurdities of safe spaces???
People blame the video game industry for school shootings and antisocial behavior, among other things...
We come here and engage in conversations on game sales and other game-related topics with other game enthusiasts in an environment in which we won't be judged for doing so...
Sure, the site isn't called vgchartz.com/safespace and we might not think of it in such terms, but would this not qualify as a safe space in which to discuss a hobby vilified by many???

Have a nice day...

And step 2 is to redefine harassment into everything that the person in question disagrees with, including criticism.

The OP specifically refers to bullying, so when he is complaining about a safe space he's complaining that people are being criticized for bullying others.

Also, Ripley is a character, not a real person, so obviously she is going to be more idealized than real people. Unless we're talking about Sigourney Weaver?

Just make the youth of today watch Hacksaw Ridge and Saving Private Ryan :^)

I get the feeling too many people today don't realise how good they have it.

Gosh, I hate sjw as well, who wants equality or get rid of sexism anyway? I love discrimination and prejudice.
