While most countries agree this expansion is wrong it is tolerated by the US with no penalties for Israel. You only have to see some of the news reports to see how people are forcibly removed from their homes and land either to be demolished for a new settlement or even for Israels to move directly into their existing home. It makes me quite angry and if it makes me angry I dread to think how those people feel who are removed. Even a small but significant population of Israel is against the settlements. Don't get me wrong though I see Israel as a good country, democratic, decent laws (for its own people) and a rare gem in the area but that does not justify its actions with regard expansion of settlements. |
The only reason israel is a raree gem in its area is because the US supports it while simultaneously destroying all of the other middle eastern nations. Just look at what USA has done to Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria and others. The 'rebels' USA supports are the founders of Daesh. And the rebels that USA still supports are not much better than daesh. In Afghanistan USA created Taliban to fight Russia and now look what happened.

That makes little sense at all. Destroying all the middle eastern nations? You've stated their purpose yourself which is to fight and remove russian influence in the past and certainly they are no enemy of Saudi Arabia despite the huge human right's issues there and the use of Sharia law. I don't think the situation can be quickly summarised in a few lines.
Islam is not a religion that believes in all people being equal and islamic countries are rarely democratic. They have had a huge number of wars and issues between each other before you start trying to blame the US or Europe for their problems. A religion that doesn't embrace equality and is fractured into multiple types that try to make their chosen path dominent over other sects. I'm not saying I agree with US, UK or European middle east policies but most of the middle east's problems are internal. Remember most muslims killed in war are killed by other muslims and many muslim countries are the worst offenders for the use of torture and a failing and biased legal system where many innocent people are executed. I just feel the actions of muslims themselves are far more questionable than US policy with its occasional excursions.
