There is a lot wrong with your post... I will leave the Killer7 stuff alone because anyone that thinks they understand the game without actually reading the story or playing the game is not going to get it at all.

And pain being mental is the whole point. Since one guy know both how to punch and how to mentally handle taking a punch, one does not have to physically change to become better. It is like saying if someone could take over your mind and use their amazing archery abilities through your body, that you would be unable to perform because you have never shot a bow and arrow. Just untrue. They are not physically changing, they are using each other, mentally. As to your training for boxing question, I trained for boxing for three years and it was WAY more about the mental than the physical. Learning to how hit someone, get hit by someone, how to focus through the pain of getting hit, where to get hit, and actually repeatedly getting hit made up most of the training. Hell, eating a certain diet takes a level of mental strength I am certain most people never understand. My trainer said the training was more difficult than the fight itself and I do not doubt it because I never made it into the ring. People with weak minds do not make it to the ring so to answer your question, being physically imposing has a very, very small role in how a boxer gets to where they are. Especially when another boxer may be just as imposing but have proper training. Yes I do believe they would train as hard as they do. On the show, I did not see anyone get taller or turn into an Asian woman... I just saw them able to use the knowledge of each other.

Killer7's story is more different but very highly regarded. But I kind of get that you may be opposed the idea. If you like the story or not is up to taste so I will not argue with you about that. I will just say I hope you invest a little more into learning about the game instead of dismissing it so quickly. Even if you come to dislike it, I still think it would be more beneficial than acting like a lot of COD haters and saying, "I read a couple sentences and COD sucks". Maybe watch a few minutes of video about it or something... I dunno. But I think if I read a couple sentences about something and formed a judgment, I would have never read some of my favorite works (1984, for example). Again, that is up to you so I know it is just wishful thinking.

Why did you even train physically for boxing? Sense8 shows us that you don't need that - just train mentally, dude. I'm gonna trained my mind now and go for weight lifting records, how does that sound? My body doesn't need to train - as long as my mind knows what to do, right?

Coming back to Killer7, it's different - the guy changes physically. His mind is not just taken over.

1) Sense8 shows us that you do not need it if someone can incept your mind, yes. Your comparison is not apt... but that is only because you are implying the change is that dramatic when it has not been. Not even close. If the show goes that far, I might agree (even though as a fan of Killer 7's story I would probably think it is better for it...). Learning how to take and throw a punch is mental and because it is mental, it makes sense. Now, if he did become, "indestructible" (which he did not) as you claimed, then I would get you but my position from the beginning is that he did not become unbeatable; rather, he just became tougher. Nobody has become Incredible Hulk or something like that. I mean we are really arguing about fantasy within fantasy so it just comes down to you do not like it. Which, I am OK with, I just think trying to say, "this isn't realistic" in a show that is OBVIOUSLY not realistic is silly... especialy when they have not done the things you have claimed.

2) You said you read two sentences of the story... the game play itself gets slammed but the story... I recommend you look into it. I do not want to say much about the story because... it would ruin things if you do end up looking into it and finding some enjoyment out of it.

Travelers is pretty good, has some great episodes. The episode where they fire the laser is epic. (It aired on tv here, you know that antiquated delivery system where you watch 1 episode a week) Much better than Timeless. But don't forget incorporated, another new sci-fi show that keeps getting better.

When does that show get good? I've seen the first episode so far.

I wasn't going to watch the 2nd episode at first, had nothing else to watch and then got interested. It hasn't disappointed after that. It's only been 4 episodes so far though, episode 5 is coming next week.

I started watching trapped tonight, instead of Sense8. It has lots of snow in it (murder mystery in small Icelandic town) so seemed appropriate for Christmas :)
