I only felt the show moved too slowly in one episode but I can kind of understand that complaint. Your second point is not something anyone is confused about. We know the person doing the stuff is being replaced for a, "physical show of the mental takeover" for lack of a better term. It is not a flaw... just a direction decision that is not designed to be taken the way you implied it is taken.

Nothing to do with being confused - it just doesn't work. Just because one takes over the body doesn't mean that the physical attributes are being carried over too. Like when the actor was fighting the criminal - the german mobster takes over and suddenly the actor becomes super indestructible. That makes no sense.

What I am saying isthat everyone understands this. They are not trying to fool you or anyone into thinking that one person, "becomes" another person. They are simply giving a physical feel to a mental happening. The confusing part for me is how you can think that does not work. It is obvious in how they filmed it and you do not seem the type to think they were trying to pull one over on the viewer.

The actor did not become indestructible... he just gains the mentality of the German... he is obviously hurt (and badly) during and well after the fight so... if the German can withstand more pain (a mental aspect), then when he takes over someone mentally, that person can now withstand the pain the German is capable of withstanding. It can make someone tougher, but not indestructible. Otherwise, you make sense with your first complaint. But maybe your second complaint is just because you did not like the show because nothing about that stuff does not add up.

I take it you have never played Killer7... that aspect is done the same way and people consider the story of that game master class. I mean, to each their own and I do not knock you for not liking the show. I just wanted to understand you better.

Travlers is legit... show is amasing.

Travelers is pretty good, has some great episodes. The episode where they fire the laser is epic. (It aired on tv here, you know that antiquated delivery system where you watch 1 episode a week) Much better than Timeless. But don't forget incorporated, another new sci-fi show that keeps getting better.

Grace & Frankie was my highlight last and this season. Love Jane & Lily.

Will watch Sense8 some day.

I know everyone understands it - it just would look stupider if they didn't replace the characters.

Pain may be a mental thing but getting a physical blow to the jaw isn't. Sorry, just because Hollyfield can withstand a punch from Tyson doesn't mean that you or me having the same mental strength as Hollyfield could too. Otherwise people wouldn't be training so hard physically for boxing, would they? Their actual physical attributes are changing in the show which makes no sense. Surely you would not dare dispute that.

And never played Killer7 but wikipedia says that the transformation is physical, so not the same. Also, I read the first few sentences and the writing already sounds silly to me - they detonotate nuclear weapons in the atmosphere by intercepting them with missiles? Masterclass...

sense8 Xmas special was pretty good. It was a no bullshit, non-story dragging episode. Went straight to the meat. Even though it my be hard to get passed old ass Daryl Hannah and deep voice hacker chick, the rest was dope. They also re-cast the Van Damme African dude. The original actor looked like a softy to me, but the new guy just seems weird. I hate when shows re-cast. Usually it ruins the show from thereafter for me. It happened to Last Man Standing. They replaced the skinny older sister with a fat chick that was not funny at all. Then the Fosters with doofy looking Jesus.

Why was this episode so good? Everybody's stories had been fleshed out already and it was on to the main plot. A no holds barred orgy also takes place with everybody naked. All woman showing boob, except the hot ass Indian girl I'm in love with. Does she really think she is too good to show boob, like everyone else?! The transgendered even showed her boobs!

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

There is a lot wrong with your post... I will leave the Killer7 stuff alone because anyone that thinks they understand the game without actually reading the story or playing the game is not going to get it at all.

And pain being mental is the whole point. Since one guy know both how to punch and how to mentally handle taking a punch, one does not have to physically change to become better. It is like saying if someone could take over your mind and use their amazing archery abilities through your body, that you would be unable to perform because you have never shot a bow and arrow. Just untrue. They are not physically changing, they are using each other, mentally. As to your training for boxing question, I trained for boxing for three years and it was WAY more about the mental than the physical. Learning to how hit someone, get hit by someone, how to focus through the pain of getting hit, where to get hit, and actually repeatedly getting hit made up most of the training. Hell, eating a certain diet takes a level of mental strength I am certain most people never understand. My trainer said the training was more difficult than the fight itself and I do not doubt it because I never made it into the ring. People with weak minds do not make it to the ring so to answer your question, being physically imposing has a very, very small role in how a boxer gets to where they are. Especially when another boxer may be just as imposing but have proper training. Yes I do believe they would train as hard as they do. On the show, I did not see anyone get taller or turn into an Asian woman... I just saw them able to use the knowledge of each other.

Killer7's story is more different but very highly regarded. But I kind of get that you may be opposed the idea. If you like the story or not is up to taste so I will not argue with you about that. I will just say I hope you invest a little more into learning about the game instead of dismissing it so quickly. Even if you come to dislike it, I still think it would be more beneficial than acting like a lot of COD haters and saying, "I read a couple sentences and COD sucks". Maybe watch a few minutes of video about it or something... I dunno. But I think if I read a couple sentences about something and formed a judgment, I would have never read some of my favorite works (1984, for example). Again, that is up to you so I know it is just wishful thinking.

Why did you even train physically for boxing? Sense8 shows us that you don't need that - just train mentally, dude. I'm gonna trained my mind now and go for weight lifting records, how does that sound? My body doesn't need to train - as long as my mind knows what to do, right?

Coming back to Killer7, it's different - the guy changes physically. His mind is not just taken over.

When does that show get good? I've seen the first episode so far.
