I like the chars, the animations, the effects, but the world they are into is so damn boring... XP

Well, it does feels like loads of fun to play, so maybe being thrilled while playing might offset it somehow.

There are other areas,  I've seen an overgrown grass area.

I haven't played Nier or Drakengard. Got my Playstation just so I can play exclusives I haven't played before. Hopefully this isn't...tooooo hard to get into.

This was really fun. It was funny, I was thinking the whole time "Wow...this is a surprisingly lengthy demo...so much to do in the game!" And then it ended and I was like "What????????? 45 minutes for 7 gigabyte!"

Still fun af though. Love the gunning.
