Good for those that I enjoy it I guess, but it just ain`t for me. It`s nothing like what Resident Evil is supposed to be in my view. And it most definitely isn`t survival horror either. It`s just plain horror, and I don`t like those kind of games, never have and never will. Just give me zombies and zombified animals and a whole load of cool guns to kill them with and some cool bosses and that would be great though.

I'm not sure if survival horror in general is for you, then.

Considering Resident Evil 2 had like 14 different weapons which also included a Gatling Gun, and RE1 and RE3 had around 10 each, I think his complain about weapons (and survival horror in general, since all those three games are considered survival horror) shouldn't be dismissed this way. He raises a valid point.

EDIT: Though we still don't know the whole extention of RE7's weaponry, though.

What i want is a RE like RE 1 -3. It seems i'll never get that.

Yeah, it definitely has some potential. It's nice to see something more attune to horror. It's something I began to miss from the series after playing 5 and 6.

Well, I hope that the Resident Evil 2 Remake will be like that.

I think a handgun, shotgun, magnum, flamethtower and a chainsaw were confirmed, eith probably more on the game.I dont get the complains about this not being survival horror. Its a survival horror through and through. Now, if you font like first person view its a valid complain, but other than that, it got everything a RE game has.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Yeah, the game is survival horror, no one is denying that. Whether it has "everything a RE game has", that's the very debatable part.

Its far more like the older Resident Evil games than RE5/6 were, which became straight-up action games.

Well they may not have really been `Resident Evil` games in the purest sense, but they were still fun to me.

for sure, i thought RE5 was still a blast (havent played RE6 yet) despite being more of an action game, im just responding to this, "its nothing like what Resident Evil is supposed to be", its far more like the original feel of the series than 5/6 are.
