So for those predicting an X1 win, I guess we're letting go of Amazon? If not, how will it win this month if it's been behind, all month, on that site? What about Final Fantasy? What will help the Xbox pull out a win? Doesn't the PS4 also have pricing deals going on?

1. Amazon has been wrong for the latter half of the year so it could be wrong again, and the Minecraft xb1 sku is the only sold out console. Also there are simply more xb1 skus in the top 100 than there are PS4.

2.FFXV is also on XB1.

3. PS4 does have the pricing deal but the XB1 comes with a $30 code and fallout 4 which the PS4 doesn't.

XBO is always actually trying. The number of times they have had discounts/free games/gift cards offers, often in conjunction, in the last few years is mind boggling.

Nah, they didn't try very hard at all last month. Previous Black Fridays they either had a better price than PS4 or better extras (free games, accessories, etc). This year they were the same price as PS4 and PS4 actually had better extras (PS4 Slim for $250 with 2 free games at Best Buy and 1 free game at Gamestop). I think MS got a bit cocky after their 4 NPD wins in a row and thought they could take November without trying to hard, but they were wrong.

Ok sure. But they have given it a very nice push in several months prior to Nov '16. Via discounts, multi-game bundles, ect. Lots of retailer specific deals going on as well. I'm guessing they were just testing the waters last month. It's a bit of an outlier, especially in terms of the holiday months.

It's funny how everyone keeps talking about the amazon charts without bringing up the GameStop charts ever. Last time I checked it(few moths back) in the top 10 selling products there were 7 Xbox one console, only 1 PS4 console. Amazons chart doesn't mean much. Xbox won npd 4 months in a row and every month people where saying 'but amazon...'.

Anyway if last months npd leak was real than I think something like
1.2 million Xbox one
950k PS4
If it was fake than
1.4 million PS4
1.5 million Xbox
Either way I have Xbox winning. PlayStation was supposed to win November it had the pro launch and months of preorders. Also in my opinion PS4 had slightly better deals for Black Friday. This month it seams the other way around as far as deals go. We will see what happens will be a interesting month.

Halo MCC will sell 5+ million copies(including digital)

halo 5 will sell 10 million copies(including digital)

x1 will pass ps4 in USA, and UK.

If you read it as 2,000,000 then yes

I should also note Microsoft did release a new SKU at the beginning of November (the blue XBOs Gears 4 bundle). Obviously, it didn't get as much preorders as the Pro, but we can't say it did nothing considering how small the rumored gap was and whatever console wins November is dictated by price. Not to mention, the blue XBOs looked pretty kickass.

 - It has? The last 6 months?

2.FFXV is also on XB1.

- FFXIII was on the 360. How did that turn out? And lest we forget the bundle.

3. PS4 does have the pricing deal but the XB1 comes with a $30 code and fallout 4 which the PS4 doesn't.

 - Like the SKUs, this is the only other thing I can see making any significant impact.

- My take.

1. Yes from April- October the XB1 has been the best selling console. If the rumored numbers are true from May-Nov the XB1 has been the best selling console.

2. The XB360 won FFX3 month in the US. Lets not forget that December is a month for casuals to buy consoles so to a casual they will see that the game is on both consoles so it won't be a huge deciding factor.
