It looks like a 50 mil profit total could be possible here. Good for Nintendo .

The source named by Polygon is saying 10m worldwide, $4m revenue. I believe the revenue numbers are WW and not US only.

Nintendo earns another victory. Can any other character pull opening numbers like this on a mobile platform? No way.

Well actually yes, Super Mario Run will struggle to earn half or a quarter perhaps even a tenth! of the revenue that games like puzzle & dragons or monster strike or candy crush or angry birds has earned.

I think Nintendo will change their strategy for up coming mobile games to be free to play with in app purchases.

I do applaud Ninetndo's method, instead of the insidious pay to win methods the above games use.

My Google Survey money will be ready when the Android version comes out XD

Sounds good, wonder how long this hype will last

I have to admit, this game looks much more interesting to me than Pokemon Go did. It's a shame that my phone sucks so I can't download it :)

Seeing that Nintendo goal is to raise brand awareness and make their main games known to more people(and thus get more sales from it), and that Super Mario Run is very successful so far, I dont think Nintendo is changing their minds about their strategy.IF FE mobile is going to be free to play, it is because it was supposed to be like it from the start, not because of later rsults of others apps.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Looks like the Investors are in agreement with me. Nintendo shares are DOWN a massive 7.6% following the release of super mario run. Puzzle & dragons or monster strike or candy crush or angry birds are all Billion dollar earners, this game will struggle to earn $100 million

Not only you missed my point, in that Nintendo dosent care much about earning billions with this game, but also about the shares.Rol explained it well why.
