Our community here at VGC has some well known yearly threads, like the Microsoft/Nintendo/Sony E3 threads or the Rookie and User of the year elections. But there's one thread that stands above them all, and that is none other than our Steam Secret Santa thread that noname2200 has been doing for years.

Unfortunately, this year he's not around to make it (I hope everything is ok, mate!) and, with time running out, we can't wait any longer. So, with that in mind

Welcome to the seventh PC Secret Santa thread!

So, what's this thread about? Well, that's easy, it's all about gifting and recieving games. Here's everything you need to know to take part in it:

EVENT DETAILS

The event is open to all members who have at least 100 posts (fewer posts may be acceptable: ask for details). You can join as late as December 20th. On the 21st, I will PM you the identity and GOG/Steam ID of your Tiny Tim. Games will be sent out between December 22th and December 31st. I know I'm not giving you much time, but we're late and the latest leaks say that Steam's Winter Sale will start December 22th, so it's now or never.

Which game(s) to gift is entirely up to you, although you may request to receive certain titles/genres (keep those wishlists updated!), and I will pass those requests on to Santa.

As to how much you need to give, the minimum is $10. But if you want to make someone's Christmas by dumping $50 worth of games or more on them, that's cool too! But remember: this is about spirit and community, so please join if it's at all feasible!

If you want to join, post in this thread your Steam and/or GOG ID and, if you want, a wishlist of games. Steam users, please post also a link to your profile (because some of you have the bad habit of change your user name and it's almost impossible to find your real profile!).

Also, please mention if you have any preference over which store you prefer to get the games on.

The man with noname is on your and my Steam friend list. He was last online about 3 weeks ago, playing You Don't Know Jack games (good taste, as alwys).

OT: I will not participate as I can't resist to buy PC games all the time (bought 3 just today, one of them is Owlboy ^-^ ). I would participate if I was allowed to only gift a game.

@Yuri: I recommend removing Broken Age from your wishlist. Or at least wait for a heavy pricecut. It's such a crappy game compared to Schafer's earlier works.

The "magic" of gifting is that you may get something that otherwise you wouldn't have bought.

Please give the link to their exact account, specifically your wishlist if you are on GoG. Even if the wishlist is empty, at least we'll know your exact account. There are just too many people called xXSephirothXx or YourMomWasFine on Steam.
