Its an xbox one download essntially.  You "buy it" for free on the website and download it from your xbox one.

Yeah tried to add it to my library but didnt have a payment profile set up and my region is set to US for some reason even though I created it in a EU country. I did have Forza Horizon 3 on it from the Target deal which is a US site.(btw are download codes universal on Xbox, not region specific?)

So I will need to migrate my account first, set up a payment profile and then add it to my library...

Fuuuck. I can't download the rights of the game right now because I don't have the 360 on me, and the Xbox marketplace online requires a payment method to be added. :(

Two good games from last gen and LO is one of if not my favorite RPG of last gen.....it is my 2nd favorite 360 game 2nd only to Gears of War 1

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

Xbox marketplace is down for me :( ... hope to be able to download it even though I'm not a huge jrpg fan anymore. I want to try it. Tales of Vesperia needs to be next as I bought it but never went far and I would give it a second chance.

Maybe. Try making an XBL account the Xbox app or xbox.com

I know a few people from other regions that have used download codes from the US. One from UK and one from Canada.

You have to purchase it for $0 on the 360 and Xbone too. So you still need a payment method.

Dunno how it works on Xbox One, but I've never had to add any payment method to download free things on 360. It works for both demos and full games.
