There's some good ideas there but it's not enough. We also need a better controller. The Xbox One controller's thumb sticks and shoulder buttons are so uncomfortable. It's the only gamepad to ever make my hands hurt after playing for a couple hours. Not even the Duke was this bad. The thumbstick is just so nerve racking to touch.

I also think the Scorpio should be salvaged for the Xbox 4. Hell, they can call it the Xbox 4k . It works, it's accurate, and it doesn't sound stupid like the Xbox One. A name which happens to be more confusing than the Wii U.

While I agree with this... Halo Wars was a good attempt at a console RTS, and I'd love to see AoE4 being multiplatform to both PC and Xbone!

Honestly even though I've never been a xbox fan i will admit they were great last gen, i think that's about as great as they will ever be. To me it just feel like Microsoft have taken their foot off the throttle and are just riding out the last of the wave. They will likely come out strong again next gen but quickly fade again if things dont work out for them.

For a jrpg guy like myself there is 0 reason to own an xbone unless it get full BC then that will at least give me a reason to buy one since I dont have a 360 anymore and half a dozen 360 jrpgs from when they gave a fuck.

I mean, I do consider myself an Xbox fan, but I agree with this sentiment. 360 last gen was a great console all-around, and the first five years is as daunting as Microsoft will ever be in the console space, both in western and eastern software. They secured deals, games, exclusives and everything that gave it the software advantage over their competitors. It got decent sales in Japan all things considered, it had a cult shump following, and it managed to break Sony's consecutive exclusiveness of mainline Final Fantasy past FFVII, not to mention it basically made an almost unbreakable streak of NPD wins thanks to their strong presence there.

360 had Peter Moore for the first years, among other people who had much better (gaming) focus than the current heads. That's why in order to achieve anything, these people need to come back.

That would never work. Beside the fact that the biggest game on there is AoE, which won't see the light of day after the demise of Ensemble, and the fact that strategy games are for the PC, the lineup is way too poor to boost console sales with it.

You would probably not gain many console sales from those games, but you would certainly gain forum-goodwill, which in the long run can be a good investment. And you'd probably get decent software sales for some of those titles, especially when you factor in PC sales. I know I'd get a few of those games on PC.

Just buy PS and burn it to the ground.

Done.

That still wouldn't make it great,  unless all sony ips and their way of thinking are adopted. 

Alan wake 2, Lost Lost Odyssey 2, Fable 4, Conker sequel.

MS should have these in the works. They need what they bring to the Xbox, in terms of diversity.
