Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Yooka-Laylee launches April 11th, Wii U version cancelled, most likely coming to Switch

That sucks. It kinda turns me away from wanting to kickstart games any longer. I figure the same thing could be happening with Bloodstained soon. I only hope they shift focus on the Switch instead if that ends up happening.

They have the BS to not even admit the real reasons for cancelling the Wii U version. Screw them and these playtonic developers are just as bad as the project cars developers. Screw the lot of them for pulling BS and thenaking lame excuses on top of that. At least have the balls to admit that you don't think you will profit from the Wii u version so you're moving to Switch instead of "unforseen technical issues". That has got to be the lamest developer excuse in all of history

Just a guy who doesn't want to be bored. Also

Unforeseen technical problems?

Sure...

Feel a bad for those that bought a wii u

I've never seen a console die so quickly.

I don't mean get replaced so quickly, I mean just die. I work at Target and our Nintendo rep said that what we have in our distribution centers is it. Target is going to stop carrying the Wii U less than a year after they stopped carrying the Xbox 360.

To make matters worse it seems that support is drying up like crazy.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

As far as "technical" issues go, I believe them ...

Nintendo will probably use the same excuse when they cancel the Wii U version of Breath of the Wild.

Feel bad for yourself, the console was awesome for me while it lasted.
