I agree, it's kind of annoying. It makes me not want to have even a peak at threads that don't seem immediately interesting.

I've never responded or posted in "http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=222261" yet it is orange for me.

I believe that only applies on the tab "Hot Topics" as opposed to "Forum Hot Topics" on the front page.

Oh I see, I don't use the Hot Topics on the front page :p

That does make it a bit confusing then, not sure why it's not consistent across the Tabs, Buddy and Front Page :p
