wii has more software than wii u on this chart.

Mario Maker isn't doing great at all!

Good to see TLG debuting higher then ICO and SOTC.

COD beating BF quite easily this Christmas in the UK it seems. It's still the king of shooters.

So, is that correct that the last guardian may have sold more than SOTC in it's first week and that without adding digital sales?

Quite a drop for FF. Was hoping for a bit better performance.

The Last Guardian did pretty much what all of us expected from such a title, but it still sucks that uninspiring games like Fifa and COD get to beat it in its launch week.

Oh well, hopefully it does well enough to give Sony enough reason to keep funding such projects.

Sony woul probably keep funding such projects even if it was a huge flop.

According you Yoshida, only 4/10 games the fund make a profit and that's used to fund the other 6 they know won't be financially successful but are made for the love of gaming.

This is why Sony's the best publisher out there by a long shot.

and during the same interview he rescued a cute little puppy from a tree and brought to a nice old and lonely lady as a gift so that she won't be alone this Xmas.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

The Last Guardian didn't exactly light the world on fire, but selling more units than Ico or Shadow their first weeks seems pretty good, especially since Shadow seemed to do pretty well over its lifetime.

Seems that FF XV was down 75%. Everything must be pretty close together if a no. 11 and no. 24 showing can make it 4th overall.

Yeah, TLG isn't going anywhere.  The constant thing that you hear about this game is that the story is very very good and unique in the style that team ICO is known for.  It should have lets over this gen.

Last Guardian did fine, despite the inevitable claims it bombed despite it being a small Japanese game.

Bombed like Recore did by not selling 200k, amiirte

Considering the hype, thats a big flop for Last Guardian and big drop for FF.

I'm surprised Dead Rising 4 even made it into the top 5. Something can't be right there, there is no interest / marketing for that game at all.

I think TLG will have better legs. Also I've seen about the same amount of advertising for both in the UK.

Yes, PS4 games have riduculous legs but at what cost. I can imagine the game hitting the bargain bucket pretty soon. Same with FF and even DR4 for that matter. Poor sales all round. December is a stupid time to release a game.

The Last Bomba!!!

do we have any total numbers, or numbers for this week?

The Last Guardian did well first week!
But it's a shame to see games like Fifa 17 or Infinite Warfare after so many weeks after release beating The Last Guardian's first week numbers...

Doesnt it say SOTC had a debut at No.1?

Anyhow not a bomb, but not great.  Even the badly reviewed Dead Rising beat it.  Both will drop fast.  People keep saying they did great without any numbers.  Likely quite low.

The Last Guardian charted lower, but sold more copies.
