I'm playing GTA 5 and enjoying the environments, Los Santos. It's a nice place to be and it looks great but the cars are not the real known ones which is the downparts.

GTA5 has sold over 70mil units so far and it's in the hands of many.

I think car companies should also give license to Rockstar to use real cars as it will get into the hands of a lot of adults and on multiple platforms. Gran Turismo is about car culture only on Playstation but GTA goes to the extent of even pirated on the pc and so more people become aware of it which helps sell the next installment.  Though the next installment will not be this huge, it will surpass the sales previous generation of consoles and still be bigger.

I think not using real cars add's to it's atmosphere.

It's supposed to be a satirical representation of America, not a realistic one. I just think it'd be a bit weird to be mowing someone down with a ford focus.

It'd lose something if it used licensed cars in my opinion.

its 2013 again

2018 Hit List: Shadow of the Colossus, Detroit, Dreams, Spider-Man, God Of War, Days Gone, Medievil, Tomb Raider 3, RDR2

2 reasons

GTA is not supposed to be real. Liberty City, Los Santos, Vice City etc. They could easily use the real life names of these cities but they won't. Same for ads, people and cars.

Car manufacturers aren't that happy with damaged cars and especially not exploding ones.

I don't think GM wants to see videos of a realistic depiction of one of their cars being used to run over prostitutes or kill cops.

As for GT/Forza, etc, it's just a great marketing too have your cars displaying speed and their performance on a race track.

Licenses are only for actually good games. Mario Kart 8 for example.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Many of the cars look like well known famous cars anyways.

Then tey can make it ibn a way not to be stolen or acquired, they should just be the cars driven in the city. Others are making mods with real cars and it's looking nice.
