It`s pretty much a giver sure that XV-2 is coming some point in the future. If I would bet, since the game scenarios, models and engine are pretty much done, I think late 2018 or early 2019.

Why I`m sure XV-2 is coming? Well, this game took 10 years to be complete and huge amount of resources, now the most rational thing to do with is to re-use it assets to the maximum to optimize costs, just like they did with X and XIII. And since this games has no way of generating extended income like GTA V with Online, sure, some DLC are coming too.

I think they said they wouldnt make a sequel.Butwho knows?It will really depend on how well FF XV ends up selling.I personally think it wont have a sequel.

I mean how could they? lol the ending kinda assures no one will be there for more adventures.The only thing I could see them doing is make Eos the new Ivalice and have a series of games just set in Eos. A new Tactics. A Lone story like Vagrant Story. Even a mainline game but unrelated like Final Fantasy XII was.

why stop at fxv-2???

I dont feel this game needs a "FFXV-2" but they could release some sort of expansion/dlc.
Also, I want a bestiary. Just give me a bestiary jesus.

We don't have definitive proof of Iggy Prompto or Gladio dying.  We just know that they were fighting daemons when Noct went upstairs.  I interpreted the ending to be that they lived on to help rebuild while Noct sacrificed himself and went on to be with Luna.

The game is selling pretty well and probably will outsell XIII, and XIII got two sequels.

Well like any Nomura creation. It's a muddled awful story that isn't very clear.
