That analyst doesnt know.. exact numbers.

All he knows is Xbox One wont be over 30m by the end of the holidays.

That means in Jan 2017, he thinks Xbox One will be under 30m.

 

Hes playing it really safe saying over 20m lead for PS4... its probably more like ~25m already.

(ei. Xbox One around 25m, and PS4 just over 50m).

 

No I dont think VGC is undertracking the Xbox One.

Yeah, I've not seen anything yet that suggests to me that VGC is undertracking XBO by any significant amount.

EA'S estimates for end of year PS4+XBO sales is only 80 million, PS4 will be at 54/55 Million, I don't think EA are any more than a couple of million out.

Well as the PS4 has already beaten there estimate of 50 million by the end of the year there 20 million lead is quite a bit off the mark also.

Ps 4 has sold this 50 million to shops,perhaps?

No, PS4 has sold more than 50 million units, to people homes.  They reported the 50m number sold through to consumers.

Shipping numbers are probably 52-53m or so (as of dec. 6th).

im betting ps4 is heavily undetracked as well..Gamestop in america has already stated that demand for ps4 games seem unusally high for what the system has sold so far.

What an obtuse prediction... 3-5M under for Playstation and likely 5-10M over for Xbox in a few months prediction is as bad as patcher.

They are comparing predicted internal values numbers about shipped numbers (30 millions) that MIcrosoft won't even reach this year and 50 millions sold to custumers early december

Yes it is... Patcher at least predicts about things to come not about the past.

Well, it was only half past, as the XBO didn't ship 30M units yet, neither will this year.
Patcher predict things and the opposite happens, so yeah, being half right is still better than that.

Predicting the half right based on it already being achieved is quite silly (and they are wrong because PS4 will be at 53-54M not 50M) and the other part they are even more wrong. So they got even worse.

The right part is XBO not hitting 30M shipped, tho...

Actually... yeah, Patcher does seem to be trying to not be Patcher anymore, some stuff he is saing, even if obvious, are right this times.

I'm very afraid this may mean the end of the world... And when he talks about Sony I get the feeling he is jynxing it, because it seems obvious and attainable, but when he says I get unease.
