Any Shining force fans out there...this is a long shot...will be suprise if anyone has played this game....

This was one of my favorite Genesis games. I hated that they changed it from an sRPG to an aRPG with later iterations, even if it did start with Shining in the Darkness as a first person RPG...

If they were to bring it back it would be nice for them to go back to the sRPG format. An updated version along the lines of a Fire Emblem style would be fine by me.

i know doesnt some tactical turn based rpg done on a AAA console like ps4 sounds amazing

I'd actually like Shining Soul to return. Playing that with my buddies on the old GBAs was really fun, and would love at least one more on a handheld or something...

If they keep the camra & combat the same (sRPGs')... why not?

Yes, It totally should. For PS4. Classic JRP style. Turn based. Developed by Level 5. Same engine and art direction as Ni No Kuni 2 is having. Zero fan service tho.

Yes it should return, I'd want something like Shining Force 2 or 3 but of course with amazing full scale, cel shaded graphics. I also want the individual character attacks to remain as well. I'm actually about halfway through Shining Force III right now and I'm loving it. I think Sega should bring it back, but do it right. Then again, Camelot was the developer on those...

SEGA should cast Egress and bring it all back. Keep the 2d too... No need for 3d graphics at all, just the oldschool style and gameplay.
