FFIV.

Around the Network

FF VII, the PC version a long while back. I didn't finish it though, the first one which I really played through and finished was the third FF game I played which was FF IX.

VI was my first. I rented it, expecting something similar to Zelda 3, or Secret of Mana. The fact that it was menu based actually made me hate the game with a passion. I didn't have a mind for menu based strategy at the time, and the fact that it was Active Time Battle, which made me rush to make a decision, didn't help either. However, after dabbling with Mystic Quest and getting a feel for the menu based RPG, I tried Final Fantasy IV and loved it. I went back to VI, and it quickly became my most loved game.

Final Fantasy X, also my favorite FF game (as well as overall favorite game of all time)

FFVII

Lucky for me, FF7 was my first on PS1. I still have it and my saves. Its also my favourite.

FF1 on NES was the first real RPG I ever played, that I remember. The first one I really fell in love with, and to this day it remains my favorite, however, is FFIV.

Final Fantasy IV on the DS. After that, I've played almost all of them. VIII became my favourite very quickly.

7, was the first one to ever release in PAL. At the time it was Christmas and my parents asked what I wanted, it was a choice between Tomb Raider and FF7, I chose FF7 and made the right choice.... now I'm a massive fan of the series who is disappointed at recent the changes.... instead of a massive fan of another series being disappointed in recent changes.

Hmm, pie.
