So one interesting new thing we got to see was the back of the dock!

I remember when the Wii U debuted, Jimmy thought the gamepad was a Wii accessory. The overall reaction was on a totally different level this time which hopefully bodes well.

Great to see Miyamoto there as well!

Really cool. The machine is beautiful.

That was fun to see.

He seems like a real fan, got totally excited over both Mario and the Switch. He'd clearly also seen the E3 footage because he already knew everything lol. Mario Run could actually a fun little game, my interest peaked when Reggie mentioned "Kingdom Builder". Zelda seems smooth, but can't really judge from this off-screen footage.

What a lucky guy !

It is thiner than I thought.

We can't judge the image quality very well, especially on the small screen.  But we can judge the performance and I gotta say, it looked rock solid in mobile mode.

hypeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Quick. Look at the vents. I need a close up of both units from all angles. Get to work guys, I want it now.

The first PS Vita had an OLED screen.

I am not pinning all my hopes and dreams on the screen being an OLED though, IPS is still great.

I know, but it's price at the time, the card system and other things that worked against it, just made me not want the thing, but the Switch is hitting some good notes so far with me.

IPS will do the job though.

The price of OLED is already cheap, but the OLED compared to other display tech is not durable.

Whatever it cost Nintendo to go out to Jimmy.... it was worth every damn penny.
He did alot to sell that Switch (he seems like a nitnendo fan btw :)

Also their marketing for Switch seems like its a million times better than what they did with the Wii U.

You spelt billion wrong.
