This week, we got Gym prestiging back to normal. Buffing a gym is the way it was before. Attacking didn't change back though.

Then came the announcement of Starbucks making a deal with Pokémon Go. Doing some special time limited promo with something. Maybe even correspond with the release of Gen 2. This is supposed to go down on December 8.

After that, came an announcement with Sprint that is supposed to go down today.

Now, a new update has surfaced where you can multi-do crap. Multi-candy Pokémon. Found on the Facebook page.

Pokémon GO is in the process of being updated to version 0.49.1 for Android and 1.19.1 for iOS devices. Below are some release notes and comments from our development team.

- Trainers will be able to transfer multiple Pokémon at a time to Professor Willow. To use this function, press and hold on a Pokémon.

- Pokémon type icons have been added to the Gym battle approach and Gym battle screen.

- The total Candy count for your Buddy Pokémon has been added to the buddy information screen.

- The total kilometers a buddy has walked has been added to the information screen of each Pokémon that has ever been your buddy.

- Minor text fixes.

I think Pokemon Go's big weeks are long behind it. Last I heard IOS players dropped from 1.7m to 50k.

But it's a big week for the players I guess!

Well, as long as it brings profits and makes the Pokemon brand strong and in the minds of the public, I think Nintendo will be satisfied. They'd rather earn money with the mainline games, that way the money earned is not sliced into so many partners.

I think much of this is too late. If they had these promotions a month after release could have been huge as it was a sensation over the Summer. Now I'm barely see anyone play and even greatly reduced my own play time.

It was always going to scale down to a core user base. No way it was still going to be a massive thing during the cold winter months (all of europe/most of US).

I think Gen 2 will soon follow this update

I think this game killed my phone (battery) and will have to stop playing it.

Starbucks will probably announce becoming Pokéstops and Gyms, as well..
