Now there's a rumor I hope is true. Hopefully they can get Thousand Year Door on there, so I can play that game again.

Knitemare said: I remember people complaining for Sony charging for PS2 games, again. But yeah, being dissapointed for the WiiU that I bouhgt a year ago, I wasnt attracted for the Switch. Now I am because of this feature. A lot of games that I didint play from GC that now Ill have the chance to. Good for Ninty, smart move really. |
Are you sure?
I'm not 100% sure but I think people complained about PS 2 game prices and no PS3 backwards compatibility, and paying for PSNow streaming.
I could be wrong but PS2 games at a reasonable price isn't a bad thing. My only worry is that a lot of sixth gen games have aged poorly.
Give me Eternal Darkness, F-Zero GX, and Thousand Year Door and I'm good...
I never finished Geist now that I think about it, but I'm not going to hold my breath for that one...
Have a nice day...

Yeah, but what can I say, we all have double moral sometimes, mostly because of our fanboyism hehe...
Anyways, on your second point, yeah, we may need to get some old CRT TV in order to get "better" visauls on those games, since the brand new FHD or UHD TVs would only make more visible the flaws from 6th gen graphics :S
But I really wanna play some GC games that I couldnt in that era because I got a PS2 instead :/ (mostly first party Ninty titles)

Nintendo charge a lot for VC titles and while nice I wonder what percentage of the userbase will buy such games. I mean they charge $10 for N64 and DS games and they will likely charge more for Gamecube. It could be $12-15 a game. I have a gamecube compatible wii and to be honest that's how I like to play Gamecube games. I don't know about elsewhere but a Gamecube compatible wii can be bought for about £15 in the UK and games are only a few pounds. Emulation on pc you can run gamecube games in high resolution and even in 3D. You don't even need a 3D tv you can run it in anaglyph using basic 2 colour 3d glasses.
