Better than I expected. So, since this data is from December 6, it can still sell 54-55 millions by year's end |
Yup, which would put the average per year at about 18 million, crazy!

How much was that record? |
I think it was around 2mil. There was a thread about it beating it or not. Hopefully it gets bumped.
Pocky Lover Boy!
Its more than I thought it would do by that time.
Software sales are good as well according to http://gematsu.com/2016/12/ps4-worldwide-sales-top-50-million , it says almost 370m software sales what means that 7+ games per owner. Not bad for a console which has more casual gamers (not fact, just my prediction by a lot more sales :P).
So, estimating that PS4 reached 50 millions, do you thing Xbox one reached 30 milions?
PS4 possibly sold beetween 1,8 and 2 millions during black friday.
Xbox one possibly sold beetween 1,4 and 1,7 millions during black friday?
What do you think about these projections?

A year lateron and there at 50m.... and next year is probably going to be the "peak" for the PS4 (bigger than this year was).

Hmm...So I think the PS4 should be able to do around 52-53 million by the beginning of 2017.
Bet with Adamblaziken:
I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.
