Sorry, Trico beats Falkor. Sure Falkor talks, but he's clearly hanging on strings when you watch the blu-ray. He doesn't live up to nostalgia after close inspection.

And acts very much like a cat. Place one of his food barrels next to a wall or pillar and watch him try to fish it away from the wall with his paw like a cat toying with a mouse. The animation is near perfect, no cheats, he has to fit through the environment, turning, backing up, winding between trees and through narrow passages, it's unbelievable.







TLG is exceeding all my expectations. Oh and the boy's animation is pretty good too. What a headache it must have been to make it believable riding along on top of Trico. They pulled it off.

Well duh, you are comparing a film made with 1980's puppets to a high tech computer entertainment system.  I'm sure if you put Last Gaurdian on Xbone, you would see very close performance. 🙄

Plus, a dog dragon is cuter than a cat dragon.

Also, his cast is amaziballz!
