Lower than I had hoped for SaGa but damn, that's a terrible score for Akiba's Beat. Bodes well for the delayed Vita version if the game itself is so crappy.

SaGa has always been very experimental for better or worse and I'm sure Grace is no different. The lower score is more than likely attributed to being Strange than low quality like all Saga games.

A great score by Famitsu, but their scoring credibility isn't great :p

The Last Guardian is getting very good scores i am really happy about that .. but it's getting a lot of mediocre ones too it's so inconsistent Digital Trends just gave it a 4/10.

I guess some people just can't handle the controls and appreciate the game for what it really is.

That's true, I hope you're right.  It still seems like a low-budget, low-effort game though.

No way on both. Do you have anything relevant to support that outside a Famitsu review. I am actually asking with curiosity btw

Well for starters, the fact that they showed off a build at TGS that had horrific load times (like 20s+ in battles for actions to take place):

http://gematsu.com/2016/09/square-enix-working-reduce-saga-scarlet-grace-load-times

That they only decided to fix when people moaned about it.

Just generally, the presentation seems low budget - static portraits for conversation scenes rather than animated characters.  No dungeons in the game - only overworld; conversations and battles.  That the game is made in Unity, the "it's cheap to make a game using Unity!" engine.  The fact that it's 9 days from launch and there's not been a single advert for it.

Everything about it reeks of low-budget to me.

Sure... a low budget 10 years title from Japan Studios.

And have you seem the budget animations?

Uncharted 4 got a 4/10

Those things just happen, sadly.

Even GT6 got a 4/10 from a "journalist" that didn't see the point of driving around in circles in a circuit.
