Expected considering Xbox is almost as strong as PS4 in UK. WW ratio should be a lot closer to 90%.

I was going through the PAL thread on GAF and the UK members actually saw commercials of Microsoft advertising FFXV for the XBO. Now imagine the ratio if that didn't happen...

Not sure why this is news worthy. Did anyone think FF was not going to sell more on a system that already has a much larger marketshare . Then you take into account that FF has always sold more on the PS platform and is pretty much considered a PS game and you have to be more surprised that the gap isn't bigger any anything else.

Final Fantasy 15 is going to have the majory of its sales on the PS4.

I live in the US and all the FFXV ads I've seen are pushing XBO as well.

I think that Final Fantasy has more chances of success on PC and Nintendo consoles than on the Xbox.

Agreed, but unfortunately Nintendo doesn't really make hardware compatible with the mainline series.

The ads I've seen have Xbox One at the end. But then it's down to recognition. FF is a well known 'Playstation' brand to a degree in the UK (due to it's time on PS1 and 2). Even when the Xbox 360 was well outselling the PS3, PS3 version of FF13 outsold the 360 version in the UK. Not by much, I don't think but enough.
