Will FFVII-R outsellf FFXV?

Both games will feature a similiar battle system.

One will be released earlier on PS4.

FFXV has already broken Franchise records.

FFVIIR wil be Multi-release.  Lets consider first release sales.

Isn't FFVIIR sold in pieces, just like Hitman? Do we count this kind of sales differently than a completed game?

Not pieces, parts. It is NOT episodic. Think the .Hack, Xenosaga or FF13.  Yes it will outsell FF15 because it will be at least 3 parts. 

Going by how Square elaborated on that statement, more like FF13. It's essentially going to be a franchise. So I think just using the first game would work fine.

And yeah, ff7 will probably outsell ff15, due to nostalgia and an even larger userbase, once it releases on other platforms.

FF13 wasn't intended as a 'franchise' or continueing series though, it was a game that had 2 sequels. And don't try and convince me that was their intention, story finished in 13 and 13-2 had completely different character as main playable ones.

This is modern SquEnix we are talking about here, who just released a non-ATB FF which has sold well, they aren't making ATB ever again.

Probably, just by name alone, it was very influential and many people still consider it the best of the series. 

I woudln't mind if they don't. Im loving FFXV's battle system. To my understanding the FFVII Remake is gonna have a similar battle system as well. 

I'm actually not sure. It's easy to say yes because of nostalgia but it isn't a new FF. I think there is a good chance that it won't. Internet hype is not real hype.
