Ignoring official statements from O'Connor (5 Million sold 10 months ago) or EA (30% of the sales are digital on PS4 / Xbox One) or the fact that the legendary edition from Halo 5 "only" included a digital code.

Yet, we ONLY look at VGC and use a 0.7% difference (margin of error?) to make the claim: Splatoon outsold Halo 5.

But yeah, whatever makes you happy.

Shipped =/= sold.

A year later they still haven't sold the shipment? Ok mate!

......and if Nintendo has 12% digital sales they also hit 5m. We could keep going round and round.

They should enjoy the success of Splatoon for what it is. A new multiple million selling IP for Nintendo.

Maybe we should add PSONE Classic sales onto the original PS1 titles sales too! Just like adding the Nes Classic sales onto the Nes. lmao

Plus, wouldn't the Switch version not be Splatoon,but instead Splatoon 1.5? It would be another game, kind of.

We know it at least has new maps and accessories atm. But yeah I really don't like that some people want to combine titles sales as if they were one release. 

Splatoon 1.5 or whatever it's called will outsell the next Halo, imo.

Alright, now that's a statement I can accept. It could happen, though I think it'll have a hard time if it is just a minor upgrade over the original. If it was Splatoon 2 I think it'd be more likely.
