Forums - Movies & TV - I'm about sick of the Walking Dead.

They are actually staying fairly close to the comics but there's still deviations. That guy (can't spoiler tag on my phone...or maybe I can and I'm lazy) ran out of bullets and the other guy wasn't even there in the comics to get shot.

The guy that portrays Negan does an okay job but he's nowhere near an accurate representation of the comics Negan, even when he is almost word for word.

I started skipping episodes last season and even a couple this season but if the story goes where it's supposed to go, it's going to be worth it. Changes and all.

I'm hoping the second half of the season will be epic enough to justify (no make up) for the current half.

I wish there were the case but with their current pacing, I don't think things are going to turn around until next season.

This season is pretty much going to be all about Rick and his people bowing down to Negan and the Saviors. I'm fairly positive the season ends with Rick getting his balls back and some sort of 'Aww, shit. It's about to be ON!" moment.

Didn't manage to get past season 4. Booooring.

This was bound to happen.

I never watched the show because I read the comics and got sick of it around issue 70/72.

The walking dead always was designed to never have an end, they just come up with stuff as they go along.

A GOOD STORY NEEDS A BEGINNING, A MIDDLE, AND AN END.

Walking Dead is still a thing? I could not stand it in season 4 or 5 already, basically every episode had the same scenario over and over and over - the group gets divided, each group faces some problem, and the most annoying - one of the characters makes a cringe worthy speech in front of all how they should be strong and fight together and bla and bla ughh My life is not very exciting but even I can tolerate only so much filler.

My Etsy store

My Ebay store

Deus Ex (2000) - a game that pushes the boundaries of what the video game medium is capable of to a degree unmatched to this very day.

Aren't most comics designed that way, though?  Anyway, Kirkman says it has an ending (he could be full of shit, though). If TWD has an ending, I imagine those huge paychecks keep him from putting it on paper.

Direct quote frome the Robert Kirkman, 3 years ago

How long could you keep the comic book going?
"I'm doing the math on this. I'm 34 years old. By the time I'm 65, I might actually get pretty far. If I don't get bored and people are still enjoying the story, I can do 1,000 issues of The Walking Dead. So it is actually possible to tell a story that follows the collapse of civilization into the dark ages into the rebirth of civilization, where things are completely different. There could be an issue 700 of The Walking Dead that's about people delivering mail. That is exciting to me."

Or you could take you pick of any of the results of "Robert Kirkman Walking Dead End" Google results.

I guess either way, he's full of shit.

Yes, it should end this season, I had enough of it myself.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

Dude... You clearly don't understand what I'm saying, my point was that the comics and the show weren't created with an end in mind, they were created to go on and on and on. Killing characters, creating new ones, etc.

The quote  I gave you, proves my point. What he said in 2016, just proves that he has changed his mind. But even if he changed his mind now, the show was still created with no idea how to end it. And that's always the kind of shows that drags on and get really boring

I think it's norm now that TWD has a great episode, next 5 are boring and when you wanna quit it goes BOOM! and that makes you want to continue hahaha
