I look at those as an excuse to explore parts of the map that I usually blow by in the car or even just fast travel.

I would like to know how overall it compares to the story amd story telling found in FF VII, IX, X, and XIII?
The first 3 are my favorites in the series, the last (XIII) I wrote off Square and FF as I despised the game so much. Just looking for general comparisons and opinions from people who've played them all.

cant wait to get it - just gotta finish a few other stuff ;)

get it ASAP. IMO their are some major spoilers that would have hurt my enjoyment a ton had I been spoiled.

I'm kind worried about the plot/story not being good. Not sure if I want to invest 20+ hours into a Final Fantasy game with a so so story.

Combat sucks but the game is decent. I have a lot of issues with the game but it's a major step up from 13. Nothing has come close to XCX for me tho.

If only they did more complex side quests like Witcher 3 ( they are rather side-stories than sideguests ) and some more combat system like Devil May Cry, i will call this game GOTG now.

Loving the game so far, but to me it could have a lot less open world in it argh... just 7h in.

I would say get it cheaper price anyone who wants their fill of plot.
