Meaning?

It's hard for me to imagine that you are joking when it comes to putting an important light on anything regarding PlayStation.

No more than seeing you talk positively about Sony or PS... yet I have been banned 3 or 4 times for trolling Sony when doing joke threads. You may ask a mod if you wish.

When I said nobody I didn't meant not one person, but that there no interest on market for Knack 2 at all except some low number of people.

Actually it real mearicle to sell just one copy on instal base of 0. :D    1.7m are LT sales numbers not launch numbers, so we have 1.7m LT numbers on instal base of 45m for Knack and for SM3DW LT numbers 4.2m on instal base of 13.5m.

We know that you were generalizing as very few wanted a Knack 2, and you are right on that.

And sorry, but looking at how games have a decline in sales on the second week already and keep decreasing over time to the point it's basically nil it makes no sense to pick a game at launch and say the userbase is the one at the end life because you are using LT.

Sry but thats a fact, Knack is not good game and dont have good sales, nobody really expected or wanted Knack 2, despite some people offcourse.

SM3DW sold much better in any case then Knack, and fact is that launch games usually have good sales because people dont have too much games to play on launch of a new console, not to mention that Knack in Japan at launch arrived with digital copy with every unit.

There is no need for that, I am open to state my opinion about people

Yes it sold, and yes launch games benefit from launch. But yet you still hold dear to the notion that userbase is the most important aspect in sales of SW. Knack released at launch and had the buck of it's sales a lot before PS4 got to 10M userbase. So Knack 2 launching one 60M userbase would it sell 6x more? so over 10M? That was the discussion and point you were defending in another thread.

Knack 2 won't even sell half of the original's numbers.

Mario would beat Knack regardless, but the new Mario is also a launch title, so I'm expecting a sales ratio of something like 4:1.

Offcourse that userbase is one most important aspect if you comparing sales of games, and fact is that on 45m userbase Knack sold only 1.7m. In other thread I defended comparing sales of two games where one game has user base on 40m and other game has user base of 20m. In this case SM3DW is on platform that has 4x less user base than Knack and still sold 2.5x better than Knack, we talking around 30% attach rate for SM3DW and less than 5% atach rate for Knack.

And rely what's point of this thread, you trying to compare one of biggest, one of most popular and one of best Nintendo IP (3D Mario) and sequel to very niche game that nobody relly (expect few people) wanted or expected!?

And whats with this "Let's never forget that Knack was outperforming Mario on UK"!? Lol

Well, you won't ever budge that attach ratio are very very very far from being constant when userbase increases so I won't even bother.

Read the thread and posts of everyone that understood the point and you'll also notice.

Knack was outselling Marion 3D world in UK for some time, just that.
