I'm kinda shocked it's not already out. Most Microsoft games are out fairly quick after announcing them. But this will probably be 3 years from announcing to release assuming it comes out next spring/summer.

My point was if you're really gonna bothered about conole resolutions and frame rates, get a gaming PC.
With MS games you atleast have the option to play visually superior versions on PC and I like that being an option.

I was being more sarcastic than anything else on the mindblowing but... ok.
Edit : To get back on the initial argument : The game is following a pattern "we delay it, but we promise it's for the greater good". That's all I'm saying.

The cloud tech was planned from the start. There has been a big push for 4K so that's finding its way in this game given its launching near the Scorpio, kinda like The Last Guardian.
Frankly, the development time for Crackdown 3 has been a little long but not that unusual.

Yeah. I was going to debate it but I didn't think it was worth it. We got an announcement trailer that was full cg. We got a couple of tech demos, and that was it.
I looked at games announced in 2014-2015 and a lot still aren't out. I don't see the big deal on this one. I just hate that they announced it do early. Nobody should announce a game until they can show actual footage, imo.
Agreed, they shouldn't... MS used to be about the right now or about the very soon within 12 months....
But I guess they ended up doing like everyone else...
My question was genuine though... I wasn't sure if they gave a date back then and didn't want to check myself...
But crackdown 3 and state of decay 2 are two exclusives I really look forward too and almost guarantied I'll love
