Input lag is very subjective, those 7ms can be a deal breaker for some and not noticeable at all for others.
I don't know why some are saying that it's an ultrawide monitor, it's not. It's a regular 16:9 monitor with a 1440p panel, probably VA since it has excellent contrast figures (you won't find any TN or IPS based monitors with similar numbers).
It's true that the ergonomics are bad, but for that price, you should consider buying a monitor arm.
