I thought that PSX this year...

Was outstanding 219 51.41%

Was exceptional 109 25.59%

Was mediocre 28 6.57%

Was boring 17 3.99%

Was bad (troll option you... 12 2.82%

Results 41 9.62%

Total:426

The main PSX conference has come to a close and what's left in the wake is a slough of sexy trailers, new game announcements and probably some dirty handkerchiefs.  What was your highlight of the show? How did it compare to E3, other conferences or even other PSX events? Did any particular moment resonate with you?

I only got to catch the last 20 minutes after they were getting off the Indie kick but I'm happy that I tuned in when I did. The new Horizon trailer looks GORGEOUS and the color palette is everything I want in an open world game (:

TLoU Part 2 reveal was done rather nicely too, lots of atmosphere as the camera panned around while that girl (Ellie? Never played the first game) played the guitar. I also thought the presenters did a good job at not being awkward and keeping the crowd involved. Definitely feels like Sony just reaffirmed why they are the market leader

5/10

Mostly remasteres, games we already know about and indie games. It was pretty zzz worthy experience for me...

The Last of Us 2 was epic though, just damnn

The rest... I could have easily skipped maybe except the UC stuff and possibly MvC. I think E3 was a lot better cause they didn't have a dull moment.

Also where the tits was Kojima?

Ill give it 9/10. Couldn't really ask for much more.

Judging from what was shown, 4/10. Knack 2? Give me a break.

Didn't even know it was happening. By the lack of new threads I'm assuming there wasn't anything worthwhile?

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

6/10.

Positives:
Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite
The Last of Us 2
Yakuza: Kiwami for western release (I believe this was the first time they mentioned it)

Cons:
All three of the above games have no concrete release date
Wipeout is just a compilation from the looks of it
No Final Fantasy VII Remake or Resident Evil 2 Remake

When Sony shows off their first party, they prove to the world why the competition cannot hang in the exclusives department for their particular audience. This was better than any E3.

10/10 would PSX again.

People once again expecting E3 levels of announcements.

I thought it was pretty good for what it was.

Uncharted 4 DLC is welcome, though why they thought twn minutes of walking was a good way of showing it off I don't know.

Knack 2 is funny, seems like a "fuck it, we're winning, let's do what the fuck we want" kind of decision.. It didn't look bad, should be an improvement on the first game at least.

Nioh, Nier, Ni No Kuni II I'm all really looking forward to.

Excited to try PaRappa, LocoRoco and Patapon.

Probably won't bother with wipeout.

And The Last of Us Part II. Hope they were being conservative when they said it was very early in development. But it's something to look forward to.

Overall, 7/10. A nice reminder of all the things coming to PS and some cool new stuff too. Sony are so far ahead of MS at this point, it's embarrassing.

Knack 2! Hell yeah.

Yakuzas confirmed for West? Oh yaaaaahhh!

Marvel vs Capcom Ultimate? Holy shit and it has a cinematic campaign.

Uncharted was badass.

TLOU2 was crazy.

Ex machina thingy was awesome.

Crash gameplay was awesome.

NiNoKuni looked stunning.

Wipeout!!!

I think this was the best PSX
