Forums - Gaming Discussion - Because there doesnt seem to be one - The Final Fantasy XV dicussion thread!

The thread will be built over time but right now I just wan to dicuss how fun FFXV is?

Where are you currently?

Weapon you feel most comfortable with?

Who was dumb enough to jump down and fight the level 38 Bandersnatcher?

Has anybody got a grip on what the finese category is related to on the report card? Is it style?

Talk about a time you were given a stern spanking

Talk about your adventure thus far

I love that this game just drops you right into the map. No tutorial phase unless you choose to have it. I was so worried about a 1 hour long beginning.

Does anybody else get that Demon's Souls feeling when carrying a lot of experience around?

wow status effect toad is back. 7 was the last mainline FF to have it. Great to see it back but not great to see it back

Still in the starting area. Almost done with exploring everything. Found lots of things. A dungeon that is way too high level, A dungeon I don't have the last key for, a dungeon I can't enter, a fishing place with too strong fish and zero enemy encounters in like 3h. I cannot create new magic with my full magic resources because I don't have enemies to spend my current magic on.

Currently stuck at mob hunts where the mobs don't spawn.

I am still fooling around in the starter area, haven't opened the border yet which I will do pretty soon.

I fell down trying to target the Bandersnatcher ;o
Tried to hit it a few times but to no avail. Ran away again...

Haven't seen the game over screen yet though. I am still trying to get my battles to go fluently but so far it doesn't feel very comfortable. Don't know if that is supposed to be this way.

30 hours played and only on chapter 5!

Haha yeah, but at least there's no chance of losing it, or is there.

I'm only level 5 and decided to go on a hunt while it was dark only for a level 30 monster to appear, I decided to stay and fight it. Took me around 10 mins to beat it and 2 Phoenix downs and a whole lot of potions but managed to defeat it. Decided to head back only for another to appear lol, just got the hellnout of there. The dark is definitely NOT for low level players.

You should visit the dungeon at the start of the zone :)
