Sun & Moon sold more than 425'000 copies first week in the country and it's Nintendo biggest launch. Nintendo France excepts the game to achieve 700'000 by the end of the year and get to a million during 2017. 

First week of X & Y was 125'000 (now approaching a million copies sold) and 180'000 for ORAS.

The article also mentions that Sun & Moon sold 347'000 copies in Germany as well as the 368'000 in the UK previously known.

Still in France, in terms of hardware we learn that 55'000 3DS was sold during Sun & Moon launch week and that the initial 100'000 shipment of NES Mini was sold out thanks to the preorders.

Damn, some great numbers. It'll be interesting to see how they all come together once VGC gets to it

Nintendo needs to get more NES Minis out ASAP. I'm not sure how long after the holidays it will really be a hot item anymore.

Hmmm that's surprising. They are usually a bit of a better market for Nintendo than UK and 3DS is pretty big over there...I wonder why pokemon isn't pulling even better numers? :/
