As a big Mass Effect fan, I haven't really been hyped for this game. They just hadn't shown enough up until now. This latest gameplay got me pumped. My hype level went from about 10% to about 70% after seeing this. Need to see more of the story now.

Getting to that time when I'm staying away from gameplay trailers as I know i'll buy it so want my experience to be it's fullest when I buy it (so not watched this) but Spring 2017? So what do we think late April? I'm fine with that.

Hmm, pie.

Combat looks so over the top and action oriented, they're removing even more RPG elements, it seems. Animations are downright terrible, look at the faces in that (ridiculous) scene where female Shepard takes the gun from the henchman, that's unacceptable in Frostbite and with Bioware at the helm.
Their time with EA is making things worse and worse for those us who liked it when Bioware were top dog in making RPG's.

Will buy it when the price is down by a significant amount and some larger patches are out to fix the inevitable slew of technical issues.

There's a lot of action in that video, I hope the game is a bit more balanced between the action and RPG elements.

By the way, that video has left me confused. If we're members of the first Alliance ship that reaches Andromeda, because that's why we're Pathfinders afterall, how come a female ex member of the Alliance has a gang with Turians on Andromeda?

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Looked like a ripoff 3rd person Halo lol with tons of "jet packs" that people supposedly hate in cod lol

Not feeling it at all. Bioware has never had great character design, but these are the blandest looking (and sounding) characters yet. Only the villain chick was any good. Make a game about her!

The new Madam Shepard has such a baby face, it looked so awkward when she tried acting tough in the dialogue. The female VA also needs improvement because she too didn't sound intimidating in the conversation either.

The animation for facial movement was not great either. Hopefully, they work out those kinks, or the male option is better.

It genuinely feels like ME Andromeda could be the sci-fi epic everyone has wanted but no one has yet got this gen.

Destiny was thought to be it - but then it was just another shooter.
No Man's Sky was long thought to be the one - but then, you know... ( I for one always that it was questionable )
XCX maybe got the closest. But even for being an incredible expansive experience - it was pretty gated off starting up.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

To those concerned about the whittling down of RPG elements - try to bear in mind that this was a Game Awards trailer. They were always going to amplify action and explosiveness in this.

In recent interviews they have emphasized a lot of RPG elements, exploration, a new system of skill trees etc.
